opportunity for student parents interested in advocating in/for their community from the Hawaii Children’s Action Network (HCAN).
We are organizing an event for parents who are interested in participating in a free 20 week course with the Parent Leadership Training Institute (NPLI) that enables adults to become leading advocates in their communities.
An informational meeting is going to be held on Monday, February 27 from 5:30-7:00pm at the PATCH office. The Co-Director of NPLI, Donna Thompson-Bennet, will be present to explain more about NPLI and answer questions.
Attached is a link to the NPLI Website, a flyer and a link to RSVP for this event below. If you have any students who would be interested in this program, please feel free to forward this to them.
